1. Regular admission to the School of Graduate Studies
2. Application for admission to School of Nursing graduate program
3. Baccalaureate degree in nursing from a nationally accredited School of Nursing
4. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale
5. Official transcripts of all colleges and universities attended, received in School of Nursing and Graduate Studies
6. Official record of GRE scores, minimum 4.50 on verbal and 450 on quantitative sections, must be taken within 5 years of admission date into graduate program
7. Completion of health assessment course taught in an accredited nursing program with a grade of "C" or higher
8. Completion of statistics course with a grade of "C" or higher
9. Minimum work experience as an RN of two years
10. Letters of recommendation from three professional/academic references received by the School of Nursing and School of Graduate Studies
11. Graduate level writing course (HUM 107, NUR 500,  ENG 505)
12. Personal interview with graduate nursing program faculty

All admission criteria must be complete by deadline date designated by the School of Nursing
